I’ve been very honored to be asked to play my song “Ordinary Soldier” with (alternate title “To My Brother Private William Jones) again at the Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans celebration at the Veterans Memorial Park located at 200 Monroe Street, Huntsville, Alabama.
Everyone is invited to join us Saturday, March 29, 2014 for this celebration. Last year close to 900 people were in attendance. The main ceremony will begin at 1:00 p.m. Come early and look around the park. If you have never visited before, I really think you will like it. It is a wonderful tribute to all who have served in the various wars. Walk along the brick path and read the names of those who are honored by loved ones.
After, the ceremony there will be a songwriter's round. I'll be hosting this part of the event featuring some very talented songwriters.
Please come out and support our Vietnam Veterans and ALL of our veterans. There will be a lot of them there and it would be nice if we could thank them for their service. Hope to see you all there. Gonna be a great day! No charge!
